Santiago Perry has served in various government agencies and private companies, as well as a consultant on various initiatives in the area of public policy for the rural sector, development agricultural and agricultural economy. In the public sector he has served as Vice Minister of Agriculture, General Manager of the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA) and advisor to the Ministries of Agriculture, Foreign Trade and the National Planning Department. In the private sector has been General Manager of the National Coffee Company, the Compañía Colombiana de Cacao (COLCACAO) and pbest Advisors Ltd. He currently serves as Executive Director of the Corporation for Participatory and Sustainable Development of Small Rural Producers Corporation (PBA). The project serves as Technical Secretary of the Working Group on Rural Poverty in Colombia, coordinating and advising on the schedule generation and production of technical knowledge required for decision-making.
