Claudia Ringler is Deputy Division Director & Senior Research Fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute, IFPRI. She joined IFPRI in 1996. Her research interests are water resources management - in particular river basin management - and agricultural and natural resource policies for developing countries. Moreover, she is undertaking work on adaptation to climate change and enhanced rural water quality management. She co-leads IFPRI’s water research group. She holds a B.A. in Business Management (ESB) from the Germany and Spain, an M.A. in International and Development Economics from Yale University, and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Bonn University.
