
Abdoulaye Zonon
Dr. Abdoulaye Zonon holds a doctorate degree in economics. Prior to Joining ECOWAS Commission, he has taught in economics at the University of Ouagadougou. He worked as an expert in macroeconomic policy for CAPES (Center for Economic and Social Policy Analysis). This Center founded by ACBF (African Capacity Building Foundation) is a Policy Center attached to the Presidency of Burkina Faso.
He has numerous publications in various areas of development such as poverty, environment and international trade of commodities. Dr. Zonon was also a trainer in sectoral policy, quantitative methods, international trade of commodities and environmental policy for many institutions at both nationally and internationally level such as the World Bank WTO (World Trade Organization), UNDP and International IUCN (Union for Conservation of Nature).
